Christmas Holiday Pictures

And again with no flash to show how dark it really was inside. There was actually more light outside because the moon was close to full.

These pictures were taken Christmas Eve when the power went out. Fortunately, Luree had bought several hats with LED lights poking out the brim. It was hilarious. The power ended up being out from around 10 PM Christmas Eve until 3 pm on Christmas Day. We had to wait for daylight to open presents, only eat things that could be cooked on a gas burner, and take periodic breaks to warm up by the fire, but still had a wonderful time.

As we went to bed that night without power and light, it made us reflect on the absence of light and the significance of the Savior's Birth in the morning--the true source of light coming into the world. How grateful we are for the Savior's life and His love for us.

Words of Wisdom from a 1-year-old: Not every day is a good hair day but that doesn't need to get us down.
